Biathlon Yukon Mission Statement

We are the Territorial Sport Governing Body for biathlon and a non-profit organization led by dedicated volunteers.
In a welcoming, encouraging environment we deliver athlete-centered competitive and non-competitive programs
and provide opportunities and support to athletes, coaches, officials and other volunteers

​Emergency Action
​Plan


​The purpose of this plan is to provide direction and information to coaches,
athletes, volunteers, and board members while at the biathlon range on how and when
to execute an emergency action plan (EAP).

Rifle Policy
​The purpose of the policy is to provide guidance to coaches, athletes, volunteers and the Board of Directors on the use of Biathlon Yukon owned rifles by athletes for an interim period. ​​
Range Operating Instructions
The purpose of this policy is to provide range operating instructions (ROI’s) that cover the use of the facilities and range operated by
​Biathlon Yukon.

Conflict of Interest

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance to Biathlon Yukon coaches, athletes, volunteers and the Board on matters and situations where there could be the perception of conflict of Interest.
Code of Conduct
The purpose of the code is to provide guidance to Biathlon Yukon coaches, athletes,
volunteers and the Board of Directors to ensure a safe and positive environment (within Biathlon
Yukon’s programs, activities, and events) by making Individuals aware that there is an
expectation, at all times, of appropriate behaviour consistent with Biathlon Yukon’s core values.

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure the protection of Confidential Information that is proprietary to Biathlon Yukon.

Concussion Policy
The purpose of this document is to outline Biathlon Yukon’s sport-related concussion
guidelines.

expedient appeals of certain decisions made by Biathlon Yukon.
