Biathlon Bears
The Biathlon Bears program is designed for children ages 9 and up, and teaches them the basic skills of biathlon in a safe and fun environment. Athletes build their confidence in both skate skiing and shooting, and develop a love for being active in the outdoors.
This is a 12 week program. Start and finish dates depend on when snow is on the ground, but usually gets going by December. We hope to be able to run 2 sessions again this season, depending on coaching availability, one on Sunday, other time and day to be determined.
No experience is necessary but athletes must be age 9 or older.
Space in this program is limited. Waiting lists will be kept.
Please email biathlonyukon@gmail.com if you would like more information
or to have your child's name on the waiting list.
